What this does

EGR delete blocks exhaust gas recirculation in software and clears related DTCs on the Bosch EDC17CP24. Common when the EGR cooler fails or carbon-clogs the intake.

How to apply it

  1. Get a DaVinci Deluxe license (Standard 299€ lifetime, Pro 499€, Monthly 79€, Yearly 790€).
  2. Read the BIN from your Bosch EDC17CP24 via any OBD/bench tool (KESS, Autotuner, FoxFlash, MagicMotorsport).
  3. Open the file in DaVinci Deluxe, toggle EGR Delete, save the patched BIN. Checksum is auto-corrected.
  4. Flash the patched BIN back to the Bosch EDC17CP24. Done.
